Dental Implant compatibility issues

1. The basic concept of biological materials:

(1). the materials used in the human physiological environment: contact with water, inorganic salts, contact protein, tissue and organs, living organisms and materials in physiological environment.

(2). Material of living organisms the role and impact to important biological material: soft Organization -> into fiber cells -> group of proteins, fiber associated proteins, actin, waveform protein -> participate in the cells to synthesize cell adhesion, cell skeleton collagen protein hard-organization -> osteoblasts -> osteocalcin, osteopontin, osteonectin -> and bone formation-related.

2. Biocompatibility:

Biological materials and human tissue contact, performance materials and tissue interface has a series of interaction eventually accepted by human tissues, ie, the material long-term clinical acceptability. Need to meet the requirements of biology, chemistry, physics and systems.

3. Biocompatibility of areas:

Biocompatibility standard biocompatibility evaluation of the role and methods of the material in standardized biodegradation and dental instruments toxic kinetic polymer surface analysis of biological material sterilization process and toxicity of residual cells and blood interaction of genetic toxicity, finishing the carcinogenicity and reproductive toxicity of graft removal and analysis of biological safety evaluation.

4. Bone planting Interface:

The general process of the implant and bone healing: trauma -> blood clot -> fiber ingrowth -> Machine -> Bone Matrix -> mineralization -> bone remodeling -> implant system. Implant and bone interface: bone binding interface.
